After a bright start Cumnor took an early lead against Abingdon, and with Lewis playing well in his new role at the back, things looked good. However as the game progressed Cumnor were pushed further and further back into their own half, with only the occasional break out. The pressure eventually paid off for Abingdon who converted two opportunites to win the first game including one excellent headed corner. Lewis won man of the match for being the new Rio Ferdinand.
In the second match Cumnor again started sprightly taking the lead 1-0, and later 2-1. However pushing forward the defence was left exposed and Abingdon took their chances well. Tom Price won man of the match for his two excellent goals.
This was Abingdon's first win of the season, but it looks like they will be getting a few more before the end.
