Another revised line up saw the first team trying to keep a well organised and determined Bicester team at bay. Cumnor struck early with a goal against the run of play, and Adam was soon having to keep very well to keep the scoreline level. However a powerful shot from their No:6 sprained Adam's wrist, and Charlie had to take over the goal keeping spot.
Having kept the score level in the first half, Cumnor were unable to hold on, and Bicester ran out eventual winners 3-1, which ended our supplmentary cup run.
The second team had another superb game. Playing against a Bicester team with many of the same players as the first team, the second team stuck dilegently to their task. Edward had a particularly fine game, tacking well, and always looking busy.
After having dropped behind by a goal, it was looking as though a result would be beyond us, when Lucy turned the Bicester goalkeeper and calmly stuck home the equalizer.
Man of the match: Edward
