Probably the only place in Oxfordshire where games were still being played.
Despite the flooding rampant throughout the country, Charlton pitches were in fine form, and we enjoyed two excellent matches.
In the first match, the team took a while to get back into their stride after the Christmas break, but ended the match strongly. The coaches emphasis on passing paying dividends with two goals by Max and Harry.
In the second match, the team played excellently for the first half and might have won it on points. However Charlton were short on numbers and rotated some of the stronger first team players into the side in the second half, and despite an excellent chance to go level at 1-1, the team suffered as they strove to push forward.
Very enjoyable matches and a good warm up for the forthcoming supplementary cup.
