The unbeaten run continues with 6 points from 2 games following another magnificent seven from the U8’s home at The Closes against Eynsham. A brace apiece for Adam, Harry and Will with Max hitting his first of the season, saw them go top of the table.
At half time it was just 2-0 to Cumnor, but they tightened their grip on the game early into the second half. Great passing, and magnificent defending by George M and Cameron meant that goalie, Charlie, was well protected, but maintained his concentration to keep a clean sheet.
Eynsham fielded a similar team for the second game which saw them run out 4 – 0 winners despite a superb goalkeeping display by, Man of the Match, Tom. The passing in this game was also much improved and encouraging for future matches.
