The U8s had a successful start to the season beating Ducklington 7-2 at the Closes in the first game. On a superbly conditioned pitch, Harry scored a hat-trick (including one sizzler), Tom got a couple and George M and William one each. It was good to see the team working with each other so well and helping each other out.
.Unfortunately (or was it luckily?) Ducklington had a reduced squad, and fielded almost exacly the same team for the second match, which we lost 6-1. Cameron scored our goal after a dazzling run through the whole of Ducklington's defence.

Thanks to the tea-shop who raised more money than we ever expected and to Ian Doye for scoring the maximum 20 out of 20 for his refereeing performance.
