Garden City Away 22nd September (W 3-0, W 4-1)

The unbeaten run continues!

Cumnor won both its matches against Kidlington at Garden City.

The first match saw some great running and passing by Max and William with some hard defending by Cameron and George M backed up by Harry, allowing Tom and Max to score one goal each in the first half. The superb saving by goalie Adam meant that at half time Cumnor were 2-0 up.

In the second half Kidlington went on the attack requiring some more sustained defence by George, Cameron and Harry and some more great saves by Adam. Harry did some strong passing up the field. Tom scored the third goal after a corner by Max to Tom which deflected off a Kidlington defender. Final score Cumnor wins 3-0.

The second match was equally tense but George D did some superb tackling to take the ball up the field. Some great passing by Charlie, Adam and man of the match, Isaac, allowed Cameron to score twice in the first half. Some great saves by goalie Max meant that the score at half time was 2-0.

Edward, George M and goalie Harry came on at half time (for Adam, Cameron and Max). Some crunching tackles by Edward and some great interceptions by George M allowed Cumnor to score twice in the second half (both goals by George M). Kidlington scored once in this half despite some great saves by goalie Harry, backed up by Charlie and Isaac.
Final score 4-1 to Cumnor.
